Kesar Mango is generally grown in the Gujarat and Maharashtra states of India. It is one of the sweetest varieties of the mangoes and it is often referred as the “Queen of Mangoes”.
Kesar Mango is a larger variety than Alphonso and is hardy and resistant to the vagaries of travel. It shows none of the temperament and sensitivity of the Alphonso. Kesar Mango is Fiberless and Saffron Yellow flesh (thus getting its name Kesar).
Its peak season is from mid-May to end-June.

Taste & Flavour: Sweet and Aromatic
Flesh: Saffron yellow and fibreless.
